Mobility at West Edmonton Mall

If you get tired or need help getting around West Edmonton Mall, you can rent a scooter.  Stanley sat on this one.  It was very comfortable.  Alberta Host noticed there were lots of Disabled Parking spots at Mall entrances.

Stanley admired the roller coaster but did not meet the height restrictions.

Stanley tried on boots but they did not have his size.

This NHL size hockey rink hosts skating lessons, public skating and some Edmonton Oilers' Practices!

Stanley tried on an Edmonton Oilers hat but they did not have his size.  He did not try on the Calgary Flames hat!

Stanley visits the World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall

Alberta Host made a pair of swim trunks for Stanley so he could visit the World Waterpark in comfort. It has a big glass ceiling that lets in the sunshine.  It has a wave machine. It has beach chairs and water slides.  There are life guards to keep people safe.

Stanley visits West Edmonton Mall!

Many visitors to Edmonton want to see the West Edmonton Mall.  It is the largest mall in the world!

Stanley Arrives in Edmonton

Stanley arrived in Edmonton, Alberta by Canada Post from Burnaby, B. C. . His trip was about 810 km. He is helping his class learn about Canada.  He is staying with Alberta Host and her family.

Stanley was wearing a brightly coloured t-shirt.  His Alberta Host made him a parka edged with fur, a pair of mitts, snowpants and boots so he can be warm in the Alberta weather.
