Stanley stopped to look at this grader. There is lots of large equipment in Alberta because of the oil sands and construction. This grader is used to clear snow at projects. This is a mild winter so projects have continued through the winter.

Stanley Arrives in Edmonton
Stanley arrived in Edmonton, Alberta by Canada Post from Burnaby, B. C. . His trip was about 810 km. He is helping his class learn about Canada. He is staying with Alberta Host and her family.
Stanley was wearing a brightly coloured t-shirt. His Alberta Host made him a parka edged with fur, a pair of mitts, snowpants and boots so he can be warm in the Alberta weather.
